The following local support groups are available to people who may be struggling with loss or other hardships. These organizations offer help to people who have experienced loss through death. 

"Walk With Me" and "Safe Harbor"   

Both groups are sponsored and run by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directrors. They are open to anyone who feel that they could benefit. “The Walk With Me” grief group is a safe place for you to cry and shed your tears of tribute to your loved one. The group meets at Trinity Family Counseling Center, 45052 Deshon, Utica, Michigan from 7 to 9 p.m. for six session seasonally.  It is facilitated by trained grief counselors. For information or registration please call 586-254-3663. “Safe Harbor”. A place where you can lay your burdens down and feel the support, caring and comfort of others. Widowed Friends provides support for widowed men and women of all ages to cope with the loss of their spouse, experience spiritual growth and complete their healing journey. Widowed Friends is a faith-based ministry formed under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Detroit, office for Family Life.
