Torongo, Maxine N., February 14, 2013, age 94 of Shelby Township. Beloved wife of the late John. Dear mother of Emily (Wesley) Klewicki, Fred (Barbara), Tom (Margaret), Mary (Edward) Scott, Vicki (Steven) Lockwood and Barbara (Edward) Keays. Grandmother of Jennifer, Amy, Christen, Benjamin, Jeannine, Jacob, Sarah, Danny (Daniel), Angela, Erin, Joshua, Emily, Seth, Stephanie, Melody and ZEBulon. grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She started to worked at Awrey Bakeries when she was in High School and continued until her family began to grow. She was a former member of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. She married her late husband, John, on August 9, 1941, they were married for 63 years. She was a volunteer at Beaumont Hospital, enjoyed her family, gardening and traveling. Family will receive friends at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. (3 Blks E. of VanDyke) Utica Sunday 1:00 pm until 9 :00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 :00pm.
