Agnes Mary Zieldorff (1935 - 2024) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Agnes Mary Zieldorff, who left this world peacefully on June 9, 2024. Agnes Zieldorff of Huntington Woods, age 89, was a devoted grandmother, mother, wife and friend, whose life was a vibrant tapestry of love, joy, and countless cherished moments. Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl, who she missed everyday. Agnes is survived by her loving family: her children Debbie (the late Paul) Picmann, Carol (the late David) Foster, Linda (Tom) Tedesco and Joseph (Sue) Zieldorff, as well as her treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren and countless other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and love. Lastly, Agnes is survived by her Grandson Michael, who she raised, and shared an unbreakable bond with until her final hours. Agnes dedicated her life to her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren. Her days were filled with connection, laughter, adventure, and creating unforgettable memories with her family. Particularly over holidays- which she always made so special. Agnes was a woman of many passions. She had a talent for gardening and home decorating- often using glitter and other shimmering accents to bring warmth and beauty into her home. Her skill in flower arranging and gift wrapping was unparalleled, and her intentionally thought-out gifts were always wrapped with the precision and flair of a professional. Cooking and baking were other ways Agnes expressed her love, and her kitchen was always filled with delicious aromas. Family get-togethers and holidays were her domain, where she brought everyone together with her incredible meals and infectious spirit. She also loved traveling, collecting sea shells and river rocks from her adventures, and dining at new restaurants, always eager to explore new experiences, especially by the Atlantic Ocean. Agnes had the ability to bring life and joy to everyone around her and she played a pivotal role in shaping the treasured family memories over the years. She enjoyed blasting her favorite Neil Diamond songs, reading murder mysteries and going on shopping trips all over town. Her family will celebrate her life on June 19th, cherishing the vibrant and loving legacy she leaves behind.
