Leslie Carraway Mansoor, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and dedicated community member, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the age of 64 in Clinton Township, Michigan. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selfless service that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on January 28, 1959, Leslie was the cherished daughter of Richard Sr. and Jeanette Carraway. Leslie was a devoted mother to her two children, Hala Kennedy and Omar Mansoor, and a proud grandmother to Charley Ann, Roxy, Ivy, and Layla, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Leslie was a dear sister to Stephan (Chaunette) Carraway, Richard Jr. (Jeanette) Carraway, Robert (Cindy) Carraway, and Jeffrey Carraway. Her family was a pillar of strength, support, and love throughout her life, and the bond she shared with her siblings was unbreakable. Leslie was a passionate advocate for her community, dedicating herself to various organizations and causes that aimed to make the world a better place. She was a valued member of the Fraser Lions Club, the Optimist Club and the Daughters of Isabella, where she tirelessly worked to support those in need and improve the lives of others. Leslie's kind and caring heart extended to volunteering as an angel for Hope not Handcuffs, offering a guiding hand to individuals in their time of need. In addition to her community involvement, Leslie played a crucial role in the downtown planning committee for the City of Roseville Chamber of Commerce until her health declined. Her contributions to the growth and development of her city were a testament to her dedication to making her community a more vibrant and inclusive place for all. Leslie's indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others will be remembered by her loved ones and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of selflessness, kindness, and service will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Leslie Carraway Mansoor will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and the community she so passionately served. Her memory will live on through the positive impact she made in the lives of so many. A visitation to celebrate Leslie's life will take place on Wednesday (November 1st) from 3pm - 9pm and continue on Thursday (November 2nd) at 10am until the time of service at 11am, at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township. Leslie's love and light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
