Michael Alan Brown

Michael Alan Brown, of Poinciana, Florida, formerly of Chesterfield Township, Michigan, passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 72. Mike was born on April 24, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to Blair and Stella Brown. In 1969, Michael graduated from Tecumseh High School in New Carlisle, Ohio. He spent his entire career in restaurant management. On July 21, 1973, Mike married the love of his life, Ann Grusenmeyer, at Sacred Heart Church in New Carlisle. Mike is the cherished husband for 50 years of Ann; the beloved father of Jason (Carrie) Brown of Commerce Twp., and Lori (Stephen) Townsend of Sterling Heights; the adored grandfather of Kyle Brown, Sarah Weiner, and Matthew Weiner; the loving brother of Tom (the late Marian) Brown of Centerville, OH, Bill (Jana) Brown of Poinciana, FL, Patrick (Joyce) Brown of Pickerington, OH, and Greg (Maria Herrera) Brown of Poinciana, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mike's family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. A funeral mass will continue on Wednesday, August 2, instate from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake, 48386. Inurnment will take place on Thursday (August 3rd) at 10:30am at the Preserve, All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.
