Tim David Johnson

Tim Johnson, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 46. He was born on June 24, 1978, Tim lived a life full of passion, love, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith. He is survived by his loving wife, Chellie Johnson (née Punzalan), with whom he shared a beautiful life and love story that began in the year 2000 at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, where both of them worked together. Their love only grew stronger over the years, blessing them with two wonderful children, Finn and Evie, who were the light of his life. Tim will also be dearly missed by his mother, Susan Busch (née Wittenberg), and stepfather, Henry Busch; his brother, Jon Johnson; his niece, Kassie Johnson; and many loving extended family members. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Johnson. Tim had a deep love for movies, especially Marvel films, with a special place in his heart for Superman. He found joy in the kitchen, cooking meals for his family and friends with love and care. Everyone knew Tim was a stickler about food safety rules, but it just made his already delicious dishes taste even better. The outdoors called to him, and he relished every opportunity to camp, enjoy fireworks, and embrace the beauty of nature. Poker night with the guys was a tradition he never missed, filled with laughter and camaraderie. He was an avid collector of firearms and had a deep love for his country, he was a proud patriot through and through. He was an active member at Grace Baptist Church in Birmingham and his strong faith was something he held close to his heart. It guided him throughout his life and he found profound strength in his beliefs. Tim's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories he created, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. Rest in peace, Tim. You were deeply loved, and your presence will be greatly missed every day. A memorial service for Tim will be held on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.at Grace Baptist Church, 280 E Lincoln St. Birmingham, MI 48009.
