It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexus Gray, who left this world on February 23, 2025, at the age of 26. Alexus was born on June 9, 1998, and was a vibrant soul who brought joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone she encountered. Whether through her infectious smile, her boundless energy, or her unforgettable sense of humor, Alexus made an impact wherever she went, and she will be missed more than words can express. She is survived by her loving parents, Lori and Alfonso Gray Jr., her precious son, Kenzo Gray, her dear siblings, Juan Clark Jr., Alfonso Gray III, and Andrea Jackson, her grandparents, Alfonso Gray Sr., and Valada Jackson as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Alexus will forever be remembered by her best friends, Emily Thompson and Chelsea Love, who were like sisters to her, along with many other friends who will miss Alexus dearly. Her family finds solace in knowing that she is now reunited in Heaven with her grandparents, Robert and Jacqueline Stewart, and other family and friends that have passed on. One of Alexus's most remarkable qualities was her ability to light up a room. Whether she was making people laugh with her quick wit, sharing her vibrant energy with others, or cracking a joke to lighten the mood, Alexus had a natural gift for making every moment feel special. She loved being the center of attention, and it seemed to come effortlessly to her, as she was always the one people turned to for fun and laughter. Life with Alexus was always filled with joy, and her presence was a blessing to everyone around her. In addition to her spirited personality, Alexus had a deep love for food. There was nothing she enjoyed more than indulging in her favorite dishes, whether it was trying new restaurants or sharing a home-cooked meal with family and friends. Her passion for food was just another reflection of her love for life and all its pleasures. Her beautiful spirit will live on through her family and friends, especially her son, Kenzo, who definitely inherited her silliness, and all the lives she touched in her short, but impactful, time on earth. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her light continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 2-8pm with a memorial service at 6:30pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd in Royal Oak.
