Arthur R. Peludat

Arthur (Art) Richard Peludat, Jr. August 10, 1932 - September 8, 2022 Art of Carriage Hill Senior Home of Shelby Twp. died peacefully into the arms of Jesus Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 90 years of age. Born August 10, 1932 in Dearborn Michigan to Arthur and Henrietta Peludat. Art’s Christian faith started at a young age at St. Paul Lutheran Church, he attended school in Royal Oak, and was baptized and confirmed and where he met the love of his life, Mary Ann. They were married almost 70 years prior to her death in 2020. Art was very active in the church, as an Elder, Choir Member (He loved to sing!), helping out Mary Ann with the Needy Families and various jobs throughout the years. He was always there to help anyone in need. Art worked at Excello, General Motors/Hydra-matic. He was a Tool and Die Maker and retired after 35 years. Most of all he loved the Lord and spending time with his family. He was a member of Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta, Michigan for 60 years with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends enjoyed hunting, fishing, and swimming with him. He loved sports, especially the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Any given Sunday in the fall, you would find him enjoying football games on TV. He really loved going to his grandkid’s sporting events. Art had a boat called “Mom’s Mink” which he would take his family out water skiing and fishing. Art leaves behind two brothers, Gerald (Lillian) and Ronald Peludat; four children, Hollie Rhoney, Richard Peludat (Susan), Joy Keller (Thomas, deceased), Patti Adams (Bob); grandchildren, Steven Holeton (Fabiola), Julie Ulferts (Ryan), Adam Keller (Jenelle), Benjamin Keller (Amber), Russell Keller, Mitchell Keller, Jacob Adams, Kyle Adams; and great-grandchildren Kaylee, Catherine, and Jonathan Ulferts, Jonah, Josiah, and Ainsley Keller, Mason Keller, Lily and Thomas Keller, and Cora Keller; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service is on September 17, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 202 E. 5th St., Royal Oak, Michigan 48067. In State at 10:00 am and Service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials go to St. Paul Lutheran Church Choir.
