Carol Nenciarini

Carol Nenciarini passed away in Livonia, Michigan, after a life defined by dedication, creativity, and deep love for her family and community. She grew up in Madison Heights and spent her adult life in Royal Oak, where she built a career, a home, and lasting relationships. Carol was the beloved wife of Robert Nenciarini. The two were married on February 17, 2018, at Bell Creek Community Church, beginning a marriage rooted in faith, love, and companionship. She was a loving stepmother to Julianne; Angela (Michael) Payne; and Timothy (Ashley) Nenciarini, and she cherished her role within their lives. Carol was a devoted sister to Carl (Michelle) Hunsanger and Colleen (Gary) Putinsky, and a proud aunt to Jennifer Goers, Lisa Ekestorm, and Nicholas Putinsky. Carol dedicated 39 years of service to Beaumont Royal Oak Hospital. She began her career as a laboratory technician after earning her associate degree from Oakland Community College, later worked in the NICU, and concluded her professional journey in Facilities Management. Her commitment, adaptability, and strong work ethic were evident throughout her career. She retired in October of 2018, leaving behind a legacy of service and respect among her colleagues. Outside of work, Carol found joy in gardening and interior design, expressing her creativity through beautiful and welcoming spaces. In her younger years, she raised rabbits, a reflection of her nurturing nature. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time at the family cottage in Gladwin, where she made many treasured memories. She was also a faithful member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Gladwin, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol's memory to Samaritan's Purse or Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Carol will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the quiet ways she cared for those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Visitation will be held for Carol at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home in Royal Oak, Michigan (705 W. Eleven Mile Road) on Friday January 2nd from 3 pm - 8 pm. A Memorial Mass will take place the following day, Saturday January 3rd at 12 pm at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Clawson, MI (581 E. 14 Mile Road Clawson, MI 48017).
