Cynthia H. Lind

Cynthia Hovsepian Lind (Chumack), age 79, of Bingham Farms, MI passed away on February 22, 2022. Cynthia was born in Huntington Woods, MI on September 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Nettie (Lilac) and William Chumack. Cynthia was the beloved wife of her sweetie, Jack Lind; the loving mother of Tony (Stephanie) Hovsepian and Chrissy (Craig) Barth; the adored and proud Nana to 5 beautiful grandchildren, Olivia and Maxwell Barth; Jacob, Kiki and Lily Hovsepian. Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved brother Robert Chumack; she is survived by her sister Sandra Chumack and sister-in-law Roxie Chumack, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cynthia was a graduate of Berkley High School and attended both Ferris State University and Michigan State University. Her entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and outgoing personality allowed her to start and run several successful businesses during her lifetime. She also spent countless hours volunteering and working with organizations for which she was extremely passionate. Cynthia loved being outdoors; swimming; walking on the beach; cooking and bowling at the DAC with her husband Jack. Without question her greatest joy in life was her family. Cynthia loved her family dearly and was very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than family vacations at the beach, playing games, cooking for everyone, and making smores. Visitation Friday from 12:30 pm until time of funeral 1:30 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. Burial will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery, 29001 Woodward Ave., Berkley. The funeral service will be live streamed a few minutes prior to 1:30 pm.
