Gina Kraft

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kanella "Gina" Kraft, who departed from this world on October 14, 2023, at the age of 62. Gina was born in Athens, Greece on May 12, 1961, and her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Gina was the cherished wife of Steve Kraft, a union that served as a shining example of love and commitment for all who knew them. She was the loving mother of Kai Kraft, who undoubtedly inherited his mother's kindness, grace, and unwavering spirit. Gina was also a dear sister to Elaine Telegadas and Eric Papadamis. Her family bonds ran deep and she found joy in sharing life's journey with them. Elaine and Yanni Charalampopoulos, along with Eric and Linda, were more than just siblings; they were her confidantes, her partners in laughter, and her steadfast sources of support. The daughter of Paraskevi Papadamis and the late Athanasios Papadamis, Gina was a treasured daughter who had a special place in her heart for her family. Her warm and loving nature made her a beacon of light in their lives. Gina was not only a beloved wife, mother, and daughter but also a cherished aunt to George, Tom, Alexia, Alana, and Athena. Her love extended to her nieces and nephews and she embraced her role as an aunt with open arms and an open heart. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy, and she will be missed dearly. As the great aunt of George and Pavla, Gina's love and care transcended generations. Her departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Gina's life with gratitude and appreciation for the love she shared. As we mourn her loss, may we also celebrate the beautiful and lasting impact she had on each of us. Gina's legacy will live on through the love and memories we hold dear in our hearts. A visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. (3Blks. E. of Van Dyke) on Monday (October 16th) from 4pm - 8pm. A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday (October 17th) at St. Irene of Chrysovalantou Greek Orthodox Church, 3000 28 Mile Rd, Washington, MI 48094.
