Lillian Hall

Lillian Hall (nee Ratiu), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born on April 12, 1931, to loving parents who instilled in her values of kindness, faith, and family. Lillian was one of ten children and the last surviving sibling. Lillian was preceded in death by her devoted husband Gerald. She is survived by her loving children, Myron (Linda) Hall and Julie (Robert) Harris. Lillian was the proud grandmother of Kayla, Alison (Andrew), Arianna (Ben), Benjamin, and Elizabeth, and the cherished great grandmother of Xavier and Sophia. Throughout her life, Lillian found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening and tending to her flowers, a passion that brought beauty to her surroundings and peace to her soul. She dedicated over two decades of service as a board member of University Manor Condo, where her wisdom and commitment made a lasting impact on her community. An adventurous spirit, Lillian loved to travel and explore new places. She found solace in walking, allowing her to appreciate the world's beauty and stay connected to nature. The holidays held a special place in her heart, where she delighted in celebrating with her family and creating cherished memories. Lillian's faith was unwavering, and she found comfort and guidance in reading the Bible. Her deep spirituality shaped her character and enriched her relationships with those around her. Above all, Lillian's greatest joy was found in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She showered them with love, wisdom, and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and lives. Lillian Hall will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday (February 23rd) from 2pm - 8pm at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. (3Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica. A memorial service will take place on Saturday (February 24th) at the funeral home at 11:00am
