Martin I. Segal

Martin I. Segal, age 61, of Rochester Hills, MI, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1962, to proud parents Maurice Segal and Berniece Gardner in Ann Arbor, MI. Martin was united in marriage to the love of his life, Josephine Constantino, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and raised three children. A dedicated Veteran of the United States Military, Martin served for four years before finding his true calling as a passionate salesman. Beyond his professional endeavors, Martin was an avid musician, finding solace and joy in playing the guitar and bass. His talents were refelected each weekend when he would play the guitar in the church worship band. He had a special affinity for Marvel movies and comic books, which he enjoyed alongside his wife. Together, they frequented the local shooting range, honing their skills. Current international events was something that Martin held close to him often updating those he cared for with what was happening abroad. Martin was a man of God and shared those values through love and support of his friends and family. Before working in sales Martins talents took him towards being a chef. Martin's culinary talents were a source of delight for his cherished family, leaving them with fond and flavor-filled memories to hold onto. His kitchen was a place of warmth and togetherness. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Joy; their children: Jeanelle, Jillian, and Joshua; devoted brother, Leslie and his children, Scott (Dawn), Justine, Angelina, Mya, Heather (Mike) and Brian (Karey) and their children: Olivia and Allie; faithful companion, Nugget the dog; as well as cherished cousins: Valerie and her family: Rob, Kandace, Aaron, Alexander, Oliver and Finn. Holly and her children Bruce, Johnathan, Logan and Sarah,Shari and her family: Elizabeth, Ernesto, Jessica, Kristina, Ethan, William, Jackson, Tobiah, Ezra, Jeremiah, Aason, Garbriel, Gemma, Abraham, Stephen Jr, Joshua, Mila, Declan and Tauren. Extended family members: Jorshe and Michael and their children Stephanie and Justin, Joyce and Johannes and their children Mia and Kaia, Jay and his child Jordan, Jon and Jerome and Jessica along with their child Jaena and Melissa and Mark with their children Joseph, Patrick and Elisabeth (Christopher) and their children Selina and Bruce. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Berniece, and two siblings. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors (8459 Hall Road, Utica, MI, 48317) on Saturday, November 4, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m. Memorial Services will follow immediately after at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
