Michael Mark Klonowski August 1, 1966 - October 14, 2023 Michael Mark Klonowski, a gifted and dedicated individual, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2023, at the age of 57. His life was a mosaic of talents, passions, and an unwavering love for his family. Born on August 1, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, Michael was the son of Leopold Klonowski and Dolores Galat Klonowski. He embarked on a journey that showcased his remarkable achievements. Michael graduated from Warren Fitzgerald High School in 1984, leaving behind a legacy of a great swimmer. His dedication and prowess in the pool were a testament to his commitment to excellence. After high school, he continued his education, earning his Associate Degree at Macomb County Community College. For over 35 years, Michael was an integral part of SKI Design, Inc in Utica, where he served as a machine and tool designer. His gifted hands and innovative mind contributed significantly to his profession. Designing automobile parts in AutoCAD, he found fulfillment in his work and was highly regarded by his colleagues. Outside of work, Michael had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He took pride in his home landscaping tasks, his favorite pastimes were bicycle riding, attending concerts and supporting local sports teams. His passion for travel took him across the world, traveling to almost every state in America. Las Vegas, Nevada was among his favorite places to visit. He also took trips to Canada, Italy, France and Poland along with many more countries as well. Exploring held a special place in his heart. Michael was the loving father of Christopher Brandt and the dear brother of Christine DeBacker, David (Mary) Klonowski, and Norman Klonowski. He was predeceased by his parents, Leopold and Dolores, and is also survived by the mother of his son, Lisa Brandt. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, October 24, from 4:30-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, located at 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. Michael's unexpected passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will be a source of inspiration and joy.
