Patrick Joseph Montagne (1963 - 2023) Eastpointe - Patrick Joseph Montagne, a loving brother, cherished uncle, and avid sports enthusiast, passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 59. Patrick, a longtime resident of Eastpointe, leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy. Beloved son of the late Homer and Helen Montagne. Loving brother of Larry (the late Patricia), Gary (the late Mary), Gregory (Catherine), and the late Steven (survived by Patricia) and Angie. Dear uncle of Michelle, Marie, Raymond, Dawn, Crystal, Eric, Jonathan, and Nicholas. Patrick's enthusiasm for Detroit sports was unmatched. Whether it was cheering on the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, or Pistons, he was a dedicated fan who reveled in the thrill of the game. His love for sports brought people together and created lasting memories. In addition to his passion for sports, Patrick had a few simple pleasures in life. He had an unwavering love for cheeseburgers and a strong affinity for Tim Horton's coffee, which often accompanied his favorite meals when dining out. Patrick's appreciation for Polka music filled his heart with joy, and he found endless enjoyment watching reruns of The Three Stooges. Attending weddings brought him great happiness, as he celebrated the love and union of others. Most of all, Patrick had an unparalleled love for all pets, particularly dogs, and found comfort and companionship in their presence. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Tuesday, May 30, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. The visitation will be held at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, located at 705 W. 11 Mile Rd., just four blocks east of Woodward in Royal Oak. Following the service, Patrick will be laid to rest at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley. In honor of Patrick's memory, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Camp Grace Bentley.
