Pearl A. St. Clair

Pearl A. St. Clair, 79 of Rochester Hills Michigan went home to be with her Lord Jesus on April 27th, 2018 Surrounded by her family, church family and friends. She was born to Ann Stevens and Franklin Goodale on October 23rd, 1938 in Wadena, MN. She is survived by her Aunt Rose, sisters Lois (Ed) Helzer, Evelyn (Marvin) Shapiro, Jo (Chuck) Izydorek, Ardell (Les) Crowley, brothers Roy (Joan) Hall, Frank (Judy) Goodale and Jim (Sue) Goodale, sons Joe (Paulette) St. Clair, Jim (Michelle) St. Clair, daughter Sandra (George) St. Clair and adopted daughter Jessica (Frankie) McLaughlin. Grandchildren, Nathan Sherwin, Rachel (Michael) Gonzales, Amanda (Craig) Keller, Shawn and Samantha St. Clair, Alexis and Morgan Wildfong, Cheri (Brian) Parker, David Derksen, Amber Hanley, Jenna Giradono, Gabrielle Bashir, Jorden Swan, great grandchildren Jeff, Audrey and Colton Keller, Annabelle and Brian Jr Parker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, grandson Stephen St. Clair-Derksen, granddaughter Rebekah St.Clair-Wildfong, beloved husband Carl St. Clair, great granddaughter Aislin Parker and sister Edie (Eric) Smith. Special love and thanks to niece Kim (Kerry) Hewison, who provided great love and comfort to her and her family in her final days. Also Dani Laba who gave her love and time throughout the last year. Pearl filled our hearts with love, joy and laughter. Her greatest joys in her last days were Annabelle and Brian Jr. who filled her with their exuberance, love and laughter. Pearl was a faithful member of the Detroit Church for 22 years under the ministry of the same Pastor, Ben Mott where she will be deeply missed. She was an accomplished seamstress. She took care of those around her before herself; it is because of her kind and thoughtful spirit that her home was a home to all who entered. She adored all her grandchildren and never turned anyone away. She had a habit of adopting people into her family, simply because she had so much love to give. She wasn't rich, but what she had she always gave freely. Pearl's family will receive friends at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica, on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Crossroads Pregnancy Center.
