Randy Teague

Randell Wayne "Randy" Teague, age 77, of Beverly Hills, passed away on July 10, 2024. Beloved husband of Sally (née Thomas). Loving father of Jenn Teague, Brian Teague, Kim (Matt Cooper) Teague, Jason (Wendi) Fassbender, Jennifer (Jeff Getten) Fassbender, and James (Svenja) Fassbender. Proud grandfather of Tori, Katelin, Noah, Ella, Randa, Nick, Jessica, and Katie; and great-grandfather of Ellie and J.J. Further survived by his siblings: Tom Teague, Allen Teague, Harry Teague, and Mark Teague; his sister-in-law, Julie Busch; his niece, A Busch; his nephew, Jon Busch; and his precious cat, Charlotte (the brat). Randy was born in Dawson, Alabama, to Carl and Bonnie Teague. In the late 1940s, his family relocated to the Detroit area, where Randy developed a lifelong passion for fast cars in the Motor City. He often reminisced about drag racing along Woodward Avenue during the 1960s and 70s, pushing his 32' Ford and Dodge Charger to their limits. His love for high-speed machines even extended to motorcycles, proudly owning a Harley Davidson Chopper and a Triumph bike over the years. The annual Woodward Dream Cruise was an event he always eagerly anticipated. Randy was naturally mechanically inclined, a talent which he applied as a heavy-duty mechanic with the City of Berkley for many years. Later, he enjoyed a successful second career as a real estate appraiser for three decades. In his leisure time, Randy pursued hobbies like woodworking, gardening, and cooking. He crafted his own garden arbor and picket fence and looked forward to Thanksgiving, his favorite holiday, as it allowed him to prepare a turkey feast with all the trimmings for his loved ones. This annual tradition was important to Randy and something that he took quite seriously. Additionally, Randy was an avid reader with a keen interest in history and science fiction. Above all else, Randy will be remembered as a kind and generous man. Everyone loved him, and he will be dearly missed. Service details are pending.
