Robert "Dan" Paciocco

Robert Daniel Paciocco, “Dan”, of Sterling Heights, formerly of Warren, passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 82. Dan was born on November 5, 1942, to Giuseppe “Joe” Paciocco and Juanita Paciocco (nee Jobe) in Pontiac, Michigan. Dan married the love of his life, Jeanette (nee Kearns) on August 14, 1965, at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Dan began his career as a draftsman and then worked many years as a Sales Engineer until he retired from ITW Woodworth. After retirement, he enjoyed a passion for woodworking and spent much of his time making beautiful furniture, clocks and other pieces. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing horseshoes and playing pinochle. After his wife, Jeanette, passed away, he moved down to Winter Haven, Florida for about 7 years and enjoyed living in a 55 plus community. A proud United States Navy veteran, Dan loved his time in the Navy and enjoyed telling his Navy stories. He served from 1961 to 1965 during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was stationed on the USS Claud Jones at Key West, Florida. Dan was a cherished father and is survived by his children, Constance Capitanio (Paolo), Anthony Paciocco and Rita Paciocco (Dant). He was a loving grandfather to Emilio Capitanio (Kathleen), Christina Paciocco, Giuliana Capitanio, Anthony Paciocco and Joseph Paciocco. Great-grandfather to Maleah and Malik. He was also the beloved brother of Rosemary McCasey (the late Gary). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Juanita Paciocco, his beloved wife of 47 years, Jeanette Paciocco (nee Kearns) and siblings, Charles Albert Paciocco, Joe Paciocco (Phyllis), Patricia Conner and Nancy Baker. He will be remembered for his unwavering love and strength, his sense of humor and his tireless work ethic. He truly was the pillar of his family.
