"Scott John Cameron, age 57, passed away on April 9, 2026. Born on March 26, 1969, Scott lived a life defined by love, faith, and unwavering generosity. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Cameron, and his cherished children: Madison (Drake) Cameron Varney, Reilley Cameron, Joshua (Felicia) Coffman, Brianna (Craig) Kilburn, and Adam (Danielle) Sherrill. Scott was a proud and adoring grandfather to Taylor, Brooklynn, Damien, Skylar, Allie, Jacob, Nathan, Elijah, and Wyatt, each of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his dear sister, Kim (E.J.) Geeting, and his loving parents, Merell and Sonia Cameron. Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Marie Cameron. A devout Christian, Scott lived his life grounded in faith, kindness, and compassion. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found happiness in snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and simply being outside. Known as the best snowmobile buddy anyone could ask for, he treasured those moments spent with friends and family. Scott was known for his dry sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. He was the first person you would call when you needed anything, it didn't matter if you were family, a friend, or even a stranger, he never hesitated to offer his help. His generosity knew no bounds; he would give the shirt off his own back to someone in need, something he has literally done before. He was an incredibly hardworking man who loved unconditionally and without hesitation. Overall, family meant everything to Scott. As a husband, father, and grandfather, he was nothing short of amazing, always present with a warm smile and an open heart. To those who knew him, Scott was more than family or friend, he was truly a best friend to all. Scott's legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. A visitation will be held for Scott on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 2-8pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. (3blks. E. of Van Dyke) in Utica.
