Sharon M. Moses

Sharon M. Moses, 91, of Utica, Michigan, passed away on March 5, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 4, 1932, in Clawson, Michigan, to Raymond B. Ferguson and Mildred I. Reid. Sharon was united in marriage to the love of her life, on November 4, 1950 to Leo W. Moses. They were married for 56 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother "G.G.". Sharon devoted her life to raising and nurturing her four children. She was a pillar of strength and support for her family, always putting their needs above her own. In her spare time, Sharon found joy in various creative pursuits. She had a passion for ceramics and doll making, creating beautiful pieces that brought happiness to those around her. Sharon was also musically inclined, enjoying playing the organ and lending her voice to the church choir. Her love for music was a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. One of Sharon's favorite pastimes was spending time with her grandchildren, showering them with love and creating cherished memories together. Sharon's commitment to her faith was evident in her many years of service as a youth group leader at her local churches. She touched the lives of countless young people, guiding them with compassion and wisdom. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo W. Moses, her parents, Raymond and Mildred, and her siblings, Dorothy and Hugh. Although she has left this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Patricia (Steven) Morrish, Leo (Miriam) Moses, Mathew (Denise) Moses, and Sherry Moses; grandchildren: Michael (Karen), Benjamin (Tara), Amanda (Brian), Jonathan (Michelle), Lindsay, Mathew II, Robert (Samantha), Joseph (Tessa), and Samuel (Kait); as well as nine great-grandchildren. Visitation to honor Sharon's life will be held at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors in Utica, Michigan, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Sharon will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
