Susan Jankowski

Susan Jankowski (LaMontagne), age 67, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family and many friends who loved her deeply. Beloved wife of David Jankowski. Devoted mother to her only son, Ryan Jankowski. Cherished daughter of the late Charles and Rosemarie LaMontagne. Dear sister of the late Mark LaMontagne, Barbara Snider, Cathrine Kulon, and David LaMontagne. Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Susan was known for her generous heart, kindness, and sense of humor. She loved helping others, making people laugh, and always thinking of the people around her. Susan had a creative spirit and loved art, painting, and making things for others. She enjoyed wrapping gifts beautifully and giving thoughtful presents to family and friends. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed feeding birds and wildlife, caring for her pets, and taking them for walks at the park almost every day. She also loved caring for children and spoiling them with treats. She enjoyed spending time up north with family, relaxing around bonfires, going on road trips, shopping, watching TV and movies, spending time with friends, and going to her exercise classes. Susan also took pride in keeping her cars clean and unique with her own personal touches and “bling.” She loved caring for her yard and decorating it with flowers, angel statues, and decorations. One of Susan’s greatest accomplishments was losing over 300 pounds throughout her life, something she worked incredibly hard for and was very proud of. Susan loved having fun and living life to the fullest. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, humor, and the love she gave so freely to others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. On Thursday, May 21, 2026, memorial visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of her Memorial Mass at 12:00 noon, with a luncheon to follow, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Road (south of M-59/Hall Road), Utica.
