Virginia Genevieve Breniser February 11, 1925 - September 16, 2025 Born in Lake Worth Florida With hearts both heavy and full of gratitude, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Virginia Breniser (Ginny), who set sail on her final voyage from Novi Michigan at the age of 100. A woman of grace, strength and spirited determination. She leaves behind not just a legacy, but a lifetime of love, laughter and generosity. Predeceased by Peter C. Breniser Jr. She is survived by those who adored her. Children Barbara J. Hart (Charles), Elizabeth A. Murphy (Timothy) four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, extended family and a multitude of friends. Born with the soul of an adventurer and the heart of a nurturer, she moves through this world with elegance and purpose. Whether she was square dancing, walking to her daughters houses in Royal Oak or savoring the subtleties of a well crafted meal she approached life with the same zest that inspired everyone lucky enough to know her. A devoted wife she traveled the globe on many cruises and European trips with the love of her life beside her. Yet it was at home, taking her grandchildren to lunch, that she truly felt the most joy. Her family was her greatest treasure. She was an avid food critic - never afraid to try something new, always ready with a thoughtful critique. But is wasn't just food she savored - it was life itself. Generous with her time and her heart she gave freely to others - teaching Sunday school with patience and faith and offering comfort through visits to friends in times of illness. After dedicating several years to raising her family she returned to work and built a long fulfilling career at Detroit Bank and Trust (Comerica Bank) where she formed many lasting friendships. Despite the hurdles of age she continued to live fully and fiercely embodying a spirit that could not be dimmed. At 100 she remained an unstoppable force, remaining independent still making the most of each precious day. Hers was a life danced, sailed savored and shared. A life lived in full bloom, with a kind heart as her compass. May the wind always be at her back, the seas ever calm and her memory eternal.
