William E. Fuller, Jr.

William E. Fuller, Jr., age 76, passed away on July 2, 2020. He was born in Royal Oak on August 27, 1943 to William and Ivy (Featherstone) Fuller. Bill was a graduate of Ferndale High School. In 1966 his career path took him to Ford Motor Company and he ultimately retired from there in 2002 as a Parts Control Manager. He played football and baseball in high school and carried his love of baseball throughout his life. Bill played softball for 54 years in the city of Livonia and Canton and for 30 years played alongside his sons, son-in-law and grandson, retiring from the game at age 72. The team had several championship years that he was a part of! After retiring, he enjoyed traveling to Arizona, Atlantic City and Nevada, with Las Vegas always being a highlight for him. He was a big fan of horse racing, specifically harness racing which eventually led to him owning a racehorse of his own: Kendlen K. Bill was known for his generous nature, especially at Christmas, his favorite holiday. He always looked forward to going to restaurants with his family on Sundays. He truly cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, almost never missing any event that his grandchildren were involved in. Loving father of Kim (Peter) Howe, Jeff (Lena) Fuller, Kathy (the late Dave) Wasil and Steven (Sara) Fuller. Proud grandfather of Alex Howe, Madison Howe, Hailey Howe, David Wasil, Jr., Brandee Wasil, Darrian Wasil, Olivia Fuller, Noah Fuller, Jarret Hendershot, Ryan Hendershot, Nathan Hendershot and great grandfather of Jackson Wasil. Dear brother of Gerri (Bob) Cliffe. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 am until time of funeral service 1:30 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. In accordance with the Governor's Executive Order, visitation is limited to 10 people at a time. Masks are required for visitation and funeral.
