Yvonne Erdt

Yvonne Erdt passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, kindness, and cherished memories. On January 26, 1968, Yvonne married the love of her life, Edward Erdt, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Roseville. Together they built a loving family and shared many wonderful years together. Yvonne dedicated 30 years of service to RGIS, where her hard work and dedication were appreciated by both coworkers and friends. Outside of work, she found joy in expressing her creativity through a variety of crafts. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, needlepoint, and crocheting, but embroidery became her true passion in later years. Whether creating something beautiful with her hands or offering a thoughtful handmade gift, Yvonne's greatest joy came from giving to others. Known for her generous heart and caring spirit, Yvonne touched the lives of everyone she met. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply be there for those in need. Her kindness, compassion, and selfless nature will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Yvonne was the beloved wife of Edward Erdt; loving mother of Brian (Michelle) Erdt and Jeannine (Hristos) Papanastasopoulos; proud grandmother of Angela (Skyler) Ratering, Nikolaos (Anne) Papanastasopoulos, Aleksander (Madison) Papanastasopoulos, and Zachary Papanastasopoulos; and dear sister of Jacqueline (Robert) Newman, James (Sheilah) Lemanski, Laura (Brian) Lawrence, Tommy Lemanski, and Becky Lemanski. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-laws, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 12 from 2:00–8:00 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak, with a Eulogy and Time of Memory Sharing at 4:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held Monday, July 13 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
