AnneMarie Reichert

October 24, 1941 - August 12, 2021

Annemarie Reichert, of Clinton Township, passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 79. Annemarie was born in Semlin, Serbia on October 24, 1941 to Paul and Anna Braschel. On May 7, 1966 Annemarie married the love of her life, Adolph Reichert at St. Joseph Church in Detroit. Annemarie is the cherished wife of 55 years of Adolph; the loving mother of Eric Reichert, Kurt (Kelli) Reichert, and Tanja (Mike) Weiskirch; the adored grandmother of 7 grandchildren; and the beloved sister of Hertha (Karl) Kothke. She graduated from Roseville High School. Annemarie retired from the Chippewa Valley School District, where she worked in food service and latch key at Huron Elementary. She was a member of the Carpathia Club, where she met her husband. Annemarie had a passion for knitting hats and scarves for the needy. She was a longtime member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Annemarie loved being around kids. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's concerts and activities. She loved taking trips to the casino for some slot machine action! Annemarie's family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 19, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Road, Sterling Heights, instate at 9:00 a.m. until the time of her mass at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org/tribute.
