Barbara Bonneau
October 20, 1931 - December 19, 2021
Barbara Kay Bonneau, age 90, of Royal Oak, passed away on December 19, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving mother of Nancy (Joseph) Adamski. Stepmother of Joann (Bill Spicer) Bonneau and Victoria Bonneau. Proud grandmother of Janeen (Josh) Rumanes-Snow, Valerie (Matthew) Peasley, Mark Adamski, and Justin (Beth Sprang) Laby; and great-grandmother of Xander, Thea, Xavier, Travis, Peyton, Logan, and Kaya. Dear sister of Joan Norton. Barb was a proud volunteer at Beaumont for 45 years, helping to bring comfort to patients with mail and flower deliveries throughout the hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, solving crossword puzzles, and watching the Tigers. Barb was also very fond of dancing. Over years past, she and Henry took lessons that they put to good use during weekend visits to the Elks Club and various weddings that they attended. And she was unquestionably devoted to her family-particularly fond of her grandchildren and very active in their lives growing up. Barb cared deeply for others, was greatly loved herself, and will be dearly missed. A memorial luncheon will take place on Saturday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Club Venetian in Madison Heights, 29310 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Inurnment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Memorial contributions can be directed to the American Cancer Society. Share a memory at www.SullivanFuneralDirectors.com.
