Beth Lynn May

Beth Lynn May, age 48, passed away on August 26, 2020 at her residence in Southfield. She was born on September 29, 1971 to Richard and Sylvia May in Detroit. Beth was a lifelong area resident. She received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Detroit and earned her Master's Degree in Finance from Walsh College. She worked in financial aspects for automotive companies, ultimately becoming a comptroller. Beth also was an instructor of on-line courses related to accounting and finance. Some of her favorite past times included shopping and watching horse racing. Beth will be remembered as a very spiritual and giving person. Beloved daughter of Sylvia and the late Richard May. Loving sister of Andre Taylor, Ann (Gregory) Williams, Edward (Raylon) May, Nicole May (Doug Lawton) and the late Kevin Taylor (Linette, still living). Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her faithful companion, Cesar. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2 from 10 am until time of funeral service 11 am at Harvest International Ministries, 23233 Drake Rd., Farmington Hills.
