On Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, Cheryl Lynn MacDonald, loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin passed away at the age of 72. Cheryl was born on May 28th, 1949, and was raised in a loving household in Harper Woods, Michigan. She, along with her parents and her siblings had a very tight bond and have been extremely close throughout their lives. On November 12th, 1971, she married Howard Ernest MacDonald and together they raised their sons Aaron and Kurt. Cheryl was a very kind and generous person with an incredible sense of humor and the gift of conversation. She was always a positive influence on others and had a knack for making everyone feel at ease around her. She loved her family and prioritized time spent with her husband, kids, grandkids, and all other family members. Cheryl had a love for music, food, and travel and her spirit soared when she could experience these things with her loved ones. She was warm, considerate, friendly, fun, caring, and was known by all who knew her to be tremendously loving and sweet. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Eleanor, sister Maryanne, brothers-in-law Mike Mundy and Ian MacDonald, sister-in-law Janet MacDonald, and nephew Chris Day. She is survived by her husband Howard, children Aaron (Theresa) MacDonald and Kurt (Courtney) MacDonald, grandkids Wesley, Mia, Henry, and Eleanor, sisters Sue Mundy, Donna (Rick) Clark, and Elise (Mark) Cilluffo, brother Dan (Debbie) Brisson, sisters-in-law Jenita (Doug) Day, and many extended family members. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in Cheryl's honor would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive visitors at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI, on Sunday, November 14th between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. There will be a short service at 4:00 p.m. for those who would like to attend.
