Domenico Copioli

Domenico Copioli, age 81, resident of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, in Clinton Township. Domenico was a husband, father, brother, zio, nonno, and a wonderful friend to many. He was born to Tuilo and Domenica Copioli on May 2, 1940. Domenico met the love of his life AnnMaria Selva and happily married on February 8, 1962. He migrated from Borgo Maggiore, San Marino to the United States in March of 1962, where he built a beautiful life. Domenico loved to spend his time gardening, working in his cabinet shop, gambling at the casino, playing cards with friends, and spending time with his beloved family. He will be missed by many, his legacy will carry on, and until we meet again, may you Rest In Peace forever and ever. Beloved husband of 60 years to Anna Copioli (nee Selva). Loving father of Loredana (Harold) Nickles, Sandra (the late Tim) Sterling, and Joann. Cherished nonno of Nadia Nickles, AnnaMaria Nickles, Bianca Sterling, Sebastiano, Isabella, Anthony, Jennifer (Brett) Watkins, and Joshua (Emily) Sterling. Proud bisnonno of Sterling, Emma, Andrew, and Isaac. Dear brother of Giorgio (Phyllis) Copioli and the late Pete Copioli. Brother-in-law of Marianna Copioli. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation at the Wm Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica Monday, March 7 from 2-8 pm with rosary at 6 pm.
