Elizabeth Farah Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elizabeth Farah, a resident of Birmingham, formerly of Bloomfield Hills, passed away June 26, 2022. She was born October 10, 1930 in Clawson to the late Frank Stewart and Evelyn (Linck) Stewart. Elizabeth worked for the Women’s Hospital in Detroit as a nurse and later became a docent at the Cranbrook Art Institute. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Jalil Farah (12/7/2001), Elizabeth is survived by her children, Susan (Dale) Stollsteimer of Springfield, OR, Michael (Trina) Farah of Bloomfield Hills, and Cameron Farah of Salt Lake City, UT; siblings, Don Stewart, Bernard Stewart, Marie Stewart, James Stewart, Ralph Stewart, Robert Stewart, and Evelyn Stewart; grandchildren Austin Farah and Ian Stollsteimer; and great grandchildren Palmer Farah, Emory Farah, and one soon-to-be! Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristina Farah. Memorial visitation Thursday, June 30th, from 10 am until the time of the service 10:30 am at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. The memorial service will be livestreamed.
