Harold Kuntze

November 26, 1929 - February 28, 2022

Harold Kuntze, age 92, passed away on February 28, 2022. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Werenski). Loving father of Ronald Kuntze, Debra Hays, Robert Kuntze, Jeffery Parisi and Andrea (George) Stegeman. Proud grandfather of Makia, Graham, James, Emmanuel, Decel Joy and Samuel. Harold is best remembered for his great sense of humor. He entertained his coworkers and employees in his long career in the automotive paint business in Detroit-as a manager in the factory at ACME and Inmont, and later as a sales executive with Pittsburgh Paints and BASF. Harold enjoyed a long retirement traveling, visiting family, boating and tubing, driving antique cars, and taking on major home improvement and major building projects. He continued to play in Texas Hold-em tournaments and shoot billiards into his 90's (and was pretty darn good!). A full, active and entertaining life that put a smile on the faces of all who knew him. A visitation will take place at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica, on Sunday (March 6th) from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm. Donations may be made to the organization of your choice.
