Dr. Harvey Vaughn (November 05, 1954 - October 18, 2021) Dr. Harvey Vaughn passed away Monday, October 18, 2021, at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Gloria Brooks. Brother of Victor, Brenda, and Mia. Loving father of Harvey Jr., Sarah, Na'Toya, and Aaron (deceased); stepfather to Rodreka, Ranaldo, Valente, Armando, Adriza, and Adrima. Grandfather of Renijah, Reginald, and ZaMari and step-grandfather of Layla. Proud uncle of Chanika, Chamika, Christina, and Chalita. Preceded in death by sisters Bobbie and Terry. Harvey obtained his Master's degree and Ph.D. and was a Professional Counselor. Harvey loved the Lord and spent time with his family at annual reunions. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, MI, Saturday, October 30, 2021, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and service to follow 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Tuesday, November 16th at 10:30 am. The family suggests memorial donations to National Kidney Foundation .
