Henry Muniz

Henry Muniz, of Washington, passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 79. Henry was born in Pontiac, MI on December 30, 1941 to Espirdion and Angela Muniz. Henry graduated from St. Frederick High School in Pontiac in 1959. After school, Henry got a job at General Motors. Soon after, he was drafted in the United States Army, where he proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, while he was stationed in Vietnam. After the war, he returned to GM, where he spent the rest of his career building engines. In 1997, he was able to retire after 35 years. Henry was a proud, lifetime member of the Shelby VFW #4659. Henry is survived by his loving significant other, Darlene Montgomery; his children, Henry Muniz, Mark (Amy) Muniz, Anita Muniz;, and James (Carrie) Montgomery; his grandchildren Marcus, Stephen, Cameron, Alicia, Taylor, Makayla, Matteo, Mason, Justis, and J.J.; his great-grandchildren Elias and Penelope; and his brother Alan Muniz.
