Caverly, James "Jamie" P. Age 58, May 30, 2022 Born June 21st, 1963 in Detroit to the late Jimmy and Margie. Loving father of Colleen (Brittany), Joey, Kevin and Ben. He was also survived by their mother Beth. Beloved brother of MaryEllen (Tom) McDonoff, Susan (Carl Schade) Christie, Laurie (Rob) Lee and Marjorie (Todd) Bresson. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. The family is grateful for the love and support provided to Jamie by so many during his illness, but especially dear friends Angie Nicholas and Tim Barna. Jamie worked for and then owned and operated the family business, Jimmy's Heavy-Haul for over 40 years. Jamie enjoyed playing golf and was a strategic and competitive game and card player. He was a true family man who was a loyal friend to many. Visitation Friday 3-8 pm with a 7 pm Rosary at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral Service Saturday, 9:30 am instate with 10 am Mass, at Our Mother of Perpetual Help (formerly St. James), 241 Pearson St., Ferndale, MI 48220.
