Leonard William Strickland, age 88, of Madison Heights, passed away on March 31, 2021. Loving father of Debbie Rich, Randall (Cathy) Strickland, Denise (the late Gordon) Mattson, and Daniel (Laura) Strickland. Proud grandfather of Cherie Oldenburg, Jaimee Melvin, Lauren Rich, Brett Strickland, Jessica Gooding, Ryan Mattson, Dana Siettas, Kelly Mattson, Trevor Strickland, Britany Strickland, and Chelsea Strickland. Great-grandfather of Danielle Oldenburg, Alexis Melvin, Isabella Melvin, Michael Strickland, Aubree Strickland, Cole Strickland, Carson Gooding, Julian Strickland, Eason Strickland, and Jaelyn Mattson. Leonard was a proud Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports, working in his garden, and working on cars in his younger years. A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, April 10, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service, 12:00 p.m., at Wm.
