Leslie William Pressel

September 27, 1940 - December 3, 2021

Leslie William Pressel, age 81, of Royal Oak, passed away on December 3, 2021. Beloved husband of Mary (née McCauslin). Loving father of Leslie (Lori Lynn) Pressel, Lynn (Norbert) LaCroix, Sara (Bill) Pressel, and the late Greg Pressel; and stepfather of three. Dear grandfather of twelve and great-grandfather of nine. Dear brother of Jane Schultz and the late John Pressel and Shirley Warden. Leslie was a journeyman pipefitter for 54 years. In his spare time, he loved spending time outdoors—he was an avid hunter, salmon fisherman, and boater. He also enjoyed more daring pastimes, including skydiving, race car driving, and flying as a private pilot. He was also a skilled mechanic who could fix just about anything around the home. Perhaps most of all though, Leslie enjoyed spending time with his family. He hosted countless family gatherings over the years where he enjoyed tending the grill, and he would never hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone in his family. Leslie was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 10, from 3 – 8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 11, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
