Linda D. Griffiths

July 17, 1944 - February 6, 2022

Linda Dorothy Griffiths, resident of Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 77. Daughter of Freda and Alfred. Loving wife of Terry. Cherished mother of Douglas (Pamela) Griffiths and Lisa (Keith) Yarber. Adored Grandmother to Brendon Griffiths, Brian Yarber, Brittany Waterford, Candida Griffiths, Courtney Mullins, Dillon Griffiths, Jessica Freiburger, and Shannon Yarber. Treasured Great Grandmother of Ayden, Jayce, Harlo and Princess. Beloved sister of Joyce. She is predeceased by her other siblings, Walter, Ronald, Carl, Larry, Dale and Evelyn. She also has many loving nieces and nephews. Linda married the love of her life, Terry, on October 19, 1969 and they spent 52 wonderful years together. Linda traveled the world with her husband, being career military, Terry and Linda spent time in Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Switzerland. Together, Linda and Terry lived in Germany with their children where she enjoyed the rich history of the architecture and the food. While stationed in North Carolina, with her husband, Linda spent years as a member of the Wives Club at Fort Fisher and was a member of the Air Force bowling team. Later in life, Linda spent her time nurturing and caring for her family. She would often have sleepovers with the grandchildren and great grandchildren, cooking and baking cookies for them. She took great pride in building and caring for such a large family. Her and Terry were fond of taking their camper to Groveland Oaks to spend their weekends relaxing and enjoying their time together. Visitation will be held at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks East of Van Dyke) Utica on February 9, 2022 from 12:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, Michigan.
