Our beloved wife and mother, Marilyn J. Guettler, was called home by our Lord on March 20, 2022. She died as she had lived, peacefully and with dignity and grace, in full confidence of the resurrection promised by her Lord. She was born on June 14, 1935 in Flint to Oswald Pasche and Emma Oelfke Pasche. She met Reverend Ronald Guettler while he was pastor at Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc. The couple were married on September, 28, 1958 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Flint. Since 1970 the couple have resided in Royal Oak. Beloved wife of Reverend Ronald H. Guettler. Loving mother of Mary Catherine (Lindsay) Notwell, Julia (Gregory) Paul, Christina (Charles) Eising and Dr. Joseph (Deborah) Guettler. Proud grandmother of James (Ellen) Notwell, Alexander (Ellexi) Notwell, Maximilian (Alyssa) Paul, Lily Paul, Thomas Paul, Emma Eising, Henry Eising, Theodore Eising, Mackenzie Guettler, Nicholas Guettler, Benjamin Guettler, Victoria Guettler and great grandmother of Milo, Johannes and Lydia Paul. Sister of the late Thomas (the late Phyllis) Pasche. Visitation Thursday 4-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral Friday, in-state 10 am until time of funeral, 11 am at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.
