Bubba Glynn

June 13, 1951 - August 16, 2020

Martin "Bubba" Glynn, age 69, passed away on August 16, 2020. Beloved husband, high school sweetheart and best friend of Carol Ann O'Brien. Loving father of David (Taryn) and Timothy (Lindsay). Proud grandfather of Ava, Beckett, Liam and Georgia. Dear brother of Marianne (Wayne-late), Kathy (Rick), Maureen (Marty), Colleen (Michael), Eileen (Pat), Georgia (Tom) and Carrie (Jeff). Son of the late Martin and Georgia Glynn. Professionally, Bubba ran his own commercial/residential construction management business successfully for 30 years. Bubba graduated from Royal Oak Shrine High School in 1969 and his heart has always stayed with the school, especially its football program. His passions included pacing the sidelines at Shrine football games and spending time with his family on the shores of Lake Michigan where he and Carol built their dream home. His generosity, larger than life persona, and enthusiastic story telling will always be remembered by both his family and closest friends. Visitation Friday, August 21, 2 - 8 p.m., at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd., Royal Oak (4 blocks E. of Woodward). Per executive order, visitors inside the funeral home are limited to ten at any one time. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10 a.m. (visiting 9:30 a.m.) at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 2100 Twelve Mile Rd., Royal Oak.
