August 16, 1934 - January 22, 2022
Marylou Shellberg died peacefully in her own bed at home on Saturday, January 22, 2022. She attended the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in the late 1950's, where she met her husband Tom Shellberg at the Museum of Natural History, where they were both tour guides. She was a wonderful cook and baker, famous for her pecan rolls. She was extremely gracious, kind and forgiving, and a very good lifetime friend to many. Marylou is survived by her husband, Thomas Shellberg; daughters, Laura (Jeff) Webb and Leslie Shellberg; grandchildren, Jenna Prater, Jacob Thurlow, Tyler Shellberg and Kara Shellberg; great grandchild, Avery Prater; and sisters, Dorothy Ando and Doris Vukovich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Violet Griesman; and her sons, Jeffrey Shellberg and Eric Shellberg.
