Paul Boker

May 2, 1987 - February 28, 2022

Paul English Boker, a resident of Royal Oak, passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 34. A son of Dale and Geneen Boker, he was born on May 2, 1987 in Detroit. Paul graduated from Kimball High School and was currently enrolled at Oakland Community College. Paul's creativity knew no limits. He was often found woodworking on the front porch, making face masks or block letters as gifts for his family. He also made pottery and painted, but his greatest passion was photography. Paul was an avid reader with a particular interest in the Twilight and Hunger Games series. He enjoyed video games like Call of Duty, and playing board games with his friends. Paul was an accomplished athlete, winning medals in sports like table tennis, wrestling, wheelchair racing, weightlifting, and javelin toss through the Michigan Victory Games. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family. Loving son of Geneen. Dear brother of Brenda (Denis) McInerney, Brian Boker, Kevin (Ann) Boker, Mark Boker, Michael Boker, Tracy Augsburger, and Charlene Mabie. Best friend of Alicia, Christina, Katie, John, Carrie, Aaron, and Eric. Paul was preceded in death by his siblings Terence, Mike, and Jason; and his father, Dale. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 5, from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067. Paul will be laid to rest at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to the wishes of the family.
