Pavle Doroslovac

November 12, 1942 - April 21, 2022

Pavle Doroslovac, of Sterling Heights, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on April 21, 2022, at the age of 79. Pavle is the cherished husband of Zorica; the loving father of Milan (Dragana), Stevan (Jovanka), Velinka Doroslovac-Schultz, Ljiljana (Danilo) Zarkovacki; the adored grandfather of Christina (Tibor), Alexander, (Ksenija), Nicole, Kelly, Nikolaus, Justin, Emily, Nathaniel, Stephanie, Vladimir, Jennifer, Chloe, Siliya, Simon, Shane; the dear great-grandfather of Nevena, Stefan, Aiden, Jorydn, and great-grandchild number 5 who will be welcomed into this world in September; and the beloved brother of Miroslava. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pavle is preceded in death by his parents, Ljubomir and Jelena, and his siblings Milan (survived by Milena), Marija (Miodrag), Stevan (Ljiljana), and brother-in-law Pavle Varga. Pavle was born in Novo Milosevo, Yugoslavia, now present-day Serbia, on November 12, 1942. In March of 1966, Pavle married the love of his life, Zorica. On July 21, 1967, they made their way to the United States of America, settling down in Detroit. Pavle started working as a butcher and in the meat packaging industry, eventually owning Maynard Meat Packing in Port Huron. Since he arrived in Detroit, Pavle proudly served his Lord and community in the Nazarene Christian Church in Detroit. His faith was very important to him and Pavle instilled a deep faith in his family. Pavle was proud of his family. They were very important to him. He was able to teach them many life lessons throughout his life. Pavle will be missed by his family which extends all over the world, including Ohio, Florida, Canada and Serbia. Pavle’s family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. Visitation will continue Saturday, April 30, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. **Please note that his funeral service will be webcasted and can be found on his webpage at www.SullivanFuneralDirectors.com** Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
