Robert Stephen Mociulewski Robert Stephen Mociulewski, age 86, resident of Clinton Township, Michigan; passed into eternal life on February 24, 2022, in Shelby Township, Michigan. Bob was born on June 10, 1935, to the late Stephen and Elsie (nee Streker) Mociulewski in Jersey City, New Jersey. He attended school in Bayonne, New Jersey. After one year at St. Peter's College (now St. Peter's University), he served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1957. Following his military service, he attended Tri-State College (now Trine University) in Angola, Indiana, and graduated in 1961. Job transfers, first with Central Soya, then Fruehauf Corporation, where he spent 24 years most recently as Traffic Manager, took the family to many places including Fort Wayne, Indiana; Gibson City, Illinois; Avon Lake, Ohio; and Detroit, Michigan. Bob was an active long-time member (50+years) of Christ Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan. More recently, he joined Cross Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, Michigan. Bob loved his winters in Venice, Florida, at Mission Lakes. He enjoyed golf, fishing, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with family. Many years were spent on Crooked Lake near Angola at the family cottage and later in a travel trailer in the Steuben County Campground. He loved his pontoon boats and taught many grandchildren to fish. Bob and Carol traveled to Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Canadian Rockies. Many vacations were spent with the family in their popup camper, including trips to Florida, Washington DC, New York, and Connecticut. One of his favorites was the annual family camping trip to Pleasant Hill Lutheran Camp with friends from Christ Lutheran Church and elsewhere. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carol (nee Miller). He is the proud and loving father of Lisa (Charles) Woodward of Avon, Ohio; Julie (Glenn) Taylor of Macomb, Michigan; and Susan (Jerry) Acord of Macomb, Michigan. He is the proud and loving grandfather of Bethany (Brad) Pearce of Avon, Ohio; Andrew (Kristi) Woodward of Seven Hills, Ohio; Thomas Acord of Rochester Hills, Michigan; Justin (Abbie) Taylor of Princeton, Texas; David Acord and Sarah Acord of Macomb, Michigan; and Jennifer Acord of Clinton Township, Michigan. Great grandchildren include Natalie and Will Pearce, and Nolan and Bennett Woodward. His fifth great grandchild is due in April. He is also survived by his dear sister, Edith Anderson of Ocala, Florida; and by several nieces and nephews. Monday, February 28th, 2022; his visitation will be at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks east of Van Dyke Avenue) Utica, Michigan; from 2:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1st, 2022; his family will also receive visitors from 9:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at Cross Lutheran Church, 35851 Utica Road, Clinton Township, Michigan.
