Susan L. Lawrence

Susan Lynn Lawrence, a resident of Imlay City, passed away on March 14, 2022 at the age of 70. A daughter of Morgan and Betty Potts, she was born on March 19, 1951 in Detroit. Strangers became fast friends with Sue. She had a way of drawing people in and before they knew it, Sue had them sharing their life's story. She loved to talk to anyone about anything and could make a story hilarious in a way that no one else could. Sue could light up a room with her contagious laughter. When she wasn't enjoying good conversation, Sue crocheted and bowled in a league. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, dearly. Beloved wife of David, joined in love for 54 years. Loving mother of Wendy (Daniel) Sanchez, Lisa Abramowicz, John (Holly) Smith, and Angelique Wilson. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Autumn, Maria, Daniwen, Daniel (Yvette), and Erica Sanchez; Linda, Timothy, Alex, Kara, Matthew, Tyler (Megan), and Hope. Treasured great-grandmother of Milo Sanchez and Emilia Miller. Dear sister of Terry (Martin) Cunningham. Doting owner of Ziggy. A visitation for Susan will be held on Friday, March 25, from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd., (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067. Friends and family will gather on Saturday, March 26, from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
