Carol Glasser

Carol Glasser (née Wisniewski), age 78, of Washington Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026. Born on December 11, 1947, in Hamtramck, Michigan, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Cecelia Wisniewski. Carol dedicated many years of her life as a cosmetology instructor, where she found great joy in teaching and mentoring her students. She truly loved working with young people, sharing her knowledge and encouraging them to develop their talents and confidence. Outside of her career, Carol embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved traveling, especially taking cruises with her husband, Bruce, and enjoyed participating in local classic car clubs, creating lasting friendships and memories along the way. She was an avid reader and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her beloved granddaughter, Ashlyn. Whether taking her shopping in person or surprising her with thoughtful online gifts, Carol found immense happiness in making her granddaughter smile. Family was the center of Carol's world. Nothing brought her greater joy than gathering loved ones together, especially during the holidays. Her home was always warm, welcoming, and filled with laughter, love, and delicious meals. She had a remarkable gift for making family and friends feel at home, and she created cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 55+ years, Bruce Glasser; her loving son, Wayne Glasser, daughter-in-law Suzanne Glasser; her cherished granddaughter, Ashlyn Glasser; and her sister, Lillian: along with her nieces and nephews. Carol will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched through her teaching and friendship. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to those she cared for will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Carol's life with a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke), Utica from 12 pm -4 pm with a service at 3 pm. .
