Elizabeth "Betty" Paquin

On July 31, 2023, the world lost a beloved soul, Elizabeth "Betty" Paquin, who passed away peacefully at the age of 78. Born on September 14, 1944, Betty lived a life filled with love, joy, and devotion to her family and friends. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester, and her daughter, Tina Fennig. Although she endured the pain of losing them, she remained strong, finding comfort in the precious memories they shared. Her memory lives on through her loving children, Todd (Sheryl) Paquin and Robert (April) Paquin, who were blessed to have her as their devoted mother. Betty is also survived by her sister Sharon Felice. Betty's life was enriched by her role as a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten. She found immense joy in watching them grow and being a part of their lives. Her love and presence will forever resonate in their hearts. Throughout her life, Betty found solace and pleasure in simple joys. She loved gazing out the window, admiring the beauty of the birds. Puzzles were a source of relaxation and mental stimulation, and she often spent time piecing them together. Another favorite pastime of hers was playing bingo, where she shared laughter and camaraderie with friends. Above all, Betty cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by them forever. She also had a special bond with her son's loving dog, Ziggy, who brought her comfort and companionship. As we bid farewell to Elizabeth "Betty" Paquin, we celebrate the life she lived and the love she spread at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home on Friday (August 4th) from 3pm - 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Saturday (August 5th). She will lie instate at 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10am. May her soul find eternal rest and may her family and friends find solace in sharing her memories together at the funeral home and church. In honor of Betty's memory and her courageous battle with lung-related issues, her family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association. These donations will continue her legacy of hope and support for those facing similar challenges.
