Robb Webster

Wm. Robb Webster, age 72, of Royal Oak, passed away on April 10, 2025. Robb spent his early years in Garden City where he attended St. Raphael Grade School. He was an altar boy, always happy to pick up a little extra cash, volunteering to serve at weddings and funerals. At a young age Robb stepped into a provider role and helped to look out for his younger brothers and sister. After graduating from Garden City High School in 1971, he began an apprenticeship program in drafting. This led to his first career in jewelry design. Robb married Patricia Nassar in March of 1982 and they renewed their vows in Las Vegas in March, 2004. They made their home in Royal Oak where they raised their children, Jason and Jessica. Robb was a fan of Kimball High School Football especially when Jason played. He enjoyed U of M Football with his golfing buddies, but he enjoyed golfing on Sunday morning with them at Tanglewood even more. Retirement from Ford Motor Company came in 2005 and brought more opportunity for golf. Vying for the Barringer Cup gave many new challenges both with the courses and his competitors. With Trish and Jessica running their own business Pop Pop gladly accepted his role of caregiver of his granddaughter. Lila adored him and loving nurtured him these last few months. Robb enjoyed riding his bike with Trish, family barbeques, pool parties, time at the cottage, and date night of a dinner and show. His playfulness, enthusiasm and his sincere interest in them, made him a favorite with children of all ages. His nieces and nephews refer to him as the cool fun Uncle, and Uncle Robbie. Robb will be remembered as the beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Jason (Micheall) and Jessica (David) Owczarek. Proud pop-pop of Lila Denice. Dear brother of Alice (the late Derryl) Barringer, Daniel (Faye) Webster, Lawrence (Marie) Webster, Tom (Paige) Webster, Patricia (Karen Gattrell) Webster, Jerome (Mark Merz) Webster, Sue (Dennis) Whipstock, Dawn (Mark) Hyder, Nancy (Jim) Shull, and Raymond Wells; and brother-in-law of Renee (Edward) Chelian, Mason Nassar, Shonnette (Douglas) Nedbal, and the late Denise Nassar. Further survived by many nieces and nephews who loved their fun Uncle Robb. Predeceased by his parents, Robert C. Webster and Shirley Rich Wells. Visitation for Robb will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2 – 8 p.m. (prayer service at 7:30 p.m.) at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak.
