Robert Milczarski

Robert Milczarski, of Warren, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, in Kentucky with his sons by his side. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Robert was born on February 3, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, and lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love for his family. From an early age, he developed the strong values and work ethic that would guide him throughout his life. At just 18 years old, Robert began his career as an electrician with DTE. He remained with the company until his retirement, earning the respect of coworkers and friends through his skill, dependability, and commitment to his work. He took pride in providing for his family and serving his community throughout his long career. Above all, Robert was a devoted family man. He shared a life with his wife, Clarene, and was a proud father to his sons, Michael and Robbie. His greatest joy came from watching his family grow, and he was especially proud of his four granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought happiness and meaning to his life. Robert appreciated life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, challenging his granddaughters with math equations, sharing stories, laughter, and a nice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon. He was known for his steady presence, kind heart, and willingness to help others whenever he could. Robert will be remembered for his strength, integrity, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched throughout his years. Robert is the cherished husband of Clarene; the loving father of Michael (Monica) and Robert Milczarski; the adored grandfather of 4 granddaughters and beloved great-grandfather to 8; and the dear brother of Frances. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mary (nee Izeluk), and his siblings Dolores, Eugene, and Terry. A memorial mass will be held for Robert on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, instate from 9:30 a.m. until the time of his mass at 10:00 a.m. at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica Catholic Church, 2100 12 Mile Road, Royal Oak.
